New principles are coming into force since Monday, of 6 November 2006 in all airports of European Union.
Because of the appearance of the new threat for the civil aviation - of liquid explosives, European Union absorbed new agents of the protection of passengers and their cabin baggage.
New agents are reducing the amount of liquids which passengers can move through positions of the control of the safety. With Maja they using to all passengers using an airports the EU, independently of direction of their travel.
New means of the protection mean that in control posts safeties, every passenger and his luggage must be checked with respect to detecting prohibited liquids, irrespective of searching in other objects forbidden for the transport.
Remember before the jurney:
- since 6 November transporting only sparsenesses of liquids in the cabin baggage or in the personal bag is permitted - independently of direction of the travel;
- n 6 November transported liquids in the cabin baggage must be in containers, from which none can cross 100 ml - they must be packed into one transparent plastic and closed bag about the capacity not exceeding one litre (e.g. dihedral bag about dimensions of 22 cm / of 15 cm) which should be available in an airports.
During the control of the safety on the airport, every passenger is obliged to:
- of sending to the inspection - without calling services of the protection on - of plastic bags with containers containing liquid substances in control posts of the safety;
- of taking its outer cover (of coat, jackets) - they will stay individually X-rayed with the X-ray device, while the passenger will be controlled with the application of the magnetic goal for detecting metals;
- of taking out the portable computer and other bigger electric appliance out of the cabin baggage - they will stay individually X-rayed with the X-ray device.
Bez zmian pozostają:
- rules concerning the transport of liquid substances in registered luggage - new regulations concern only a cabin baggage ;
- principles concerning the transport in the cabin baggage of cures and other medical means, in it of foods for children intended to eat during the journey - there are in this case no restrictions in relation to the amount;
- principles concerning the transport of liquids (e.g. of perfume, of alcohol) of purchased boarding passes in shops laid on the airport behind the control post. If purchased goods were left packed and seized in the plastic bag by the managerial staff - one should not for her open checking the safety in the control post up to the moment (in this case doesn't also have restrictions about amounts).
If the journey includes the change in other airport the EU, still you have the right to the purchase of liquids located in shops on the union airport or aboard of Community haulier.
